The purpose of UPV
The purpose of the association is to gather and share research findings within the growing field of psychedelics. This is done through journal clubs, guest lectures, and book clubs. By disseminating science, we hope to raise awareness about the possibilities, risks, and applications.
The association is open to students and researchers from all faculties and departments. By becoming a member, you gain access to all our upcoming events, recorded lectures, and our Google Drive folder, where we have collected a wealth of material!
Journal Clubs
Our regular Journal Clubs take place every other Monday for UPV members, where we select a research article to read, present, and then discuss together. Afterwards, the material is uploaded to our database for archiving.
Pub nights
We organize pub nights for members where we can meet and converse in a relaxed environment.
Guest Lectures
The association regularly organizes lectures with professors and experts in the psychedelic field. The lectures focus on the effects of psychedelic substances on the brain and how they can be used in a therapeutic context to treat individuals. You can find all lectures on our youtube-channel.
